Diesel is the most popular fuel for heavy-duty on-road transportation. Commendable steps have been taken by our respected Government and its various Departments in order to promote cleaner fuels and upgrade the emission class from BS-IV to BS-VI.
However, the fact remains that more than 99% population of vehicles on Indian roads today is based on Bharat Stages III and IV Engines.
Cryogas Equipment has always remained at the forefront to bring in LNG technologies in India and developed in-house design and technologies to develop infrastructure to promote the use of LNG. Recently, Cryogas Equipment received ARAI approval for converting Diesel-fuelled Ashok Leyland BSIV Engines into Mono Fuel LNG.
For the upcoming LNG Dispensing Station project near Vadodara on Vadodara – Mumbai National Highway, Cryogas delivered LNG Storage Tanks on the recently approved Ashok Leyland BS-IV D2L Truck.
While the engine remains equally powerful, one of the major observations was a reduction in noise & vibration as well as the cost of transportation.
